The Spring Cleaning Products You Need For Your RV

The first warm days of spring can stir powerful emotions inside us – feelings of hope, love, and rejuvenation. For anyone with an RV, they also mean it is time to get the rig ready after the winter.

Exterior cleaning

  • A specialized RV wash and wax soap, so you do not damage the finish
  • A stain remover for black streaks, dried bug stains and rust
  • A complete cleaning kit for a professional result
  • An extendable brush for the parts you cannot reach
  • Microfibre towels for gentle cleaning
  • A wheel cleaner for brake dust
  • A rubber roof cleaner formulated for the material

Interior cleaning

Multi-surface cleaner, disinfectant, a vacuum with attachments, a streak-free glass cleaner, disinfectant wipes, and a fabric cleaner for the upholstery.

Maintenance and inspection

Check the window and door seals and the roof vents, and apply sealant where it is needed. Inspect the roof for cracks before they become water damage. Check the tire pressure, the tread wear and the battery, including the terminals.

Propane system

Manufacturers recommend that the LP system be checked and appliances serviced annually, so that everything runs leak-free.

Water system maintenance

Sanitize the fresh water tank, replace the water filter, and inspect the hoses for damage.

Awning care

Use a specialized awning cleaner, then apply a UV protectant.

General supplies

Gloves, buckets, sponges, brushes and trash bags.
