Getting your RV in tip-top shape
To help you prepare your RV for your upcoming adventures.
Here's a simple yet efficient checklist
- Open every door and compartment and check for rodent intrusion and water damage
- Replace the dry cell batteries
- Test the carbon monoxide and smoke detectors
- Check the fire extinguishers
- Open the awnings and let them dry
- Raise the antennas
- Inspect the seams and windows for water damage
- Lubricate the hinges and locks
- Test the hydraulic jacks
- Put mothballs near the refrigerator burners so spiders do not nest there
- Put bounce sheets under the mattresses to deter field mice
- Inspect the tires for dry rot, then inflate to the recommended pressure
